#114 & 115 - My favourite things

These are two of my shoe saves from Week 35 of the Shoe Challenge.

I have so many clothes in beautiful colours and fabrics and prints, because I have a lot of clothes in general, and also because I tend to dress up more than most people. I don't usually have favourites, as I have so many things I like. But these are a couple of items of clothing I've bought lately that I really love.

1. Kate Spade cityscape/skyline skirt.
How great is this? When you look at it up close, it's just a simple white print on black, but it's so effective. It's a really interesting, unique design.

My shoes are from Kate Spade too. As nice as they are, I was kind of expecting them to be a bright pink when I ordered them, rather than the fuchsia they actually are. Strangely enough, this has happened to me twice with shoes in the past month!

2. Ojay rainforest print dress
This is probably my favourite dress to wear at the moment, as the print is so amazing. I was told that it's based on photos taken by the designer, and it reminds me of places I like to go hiking. When I wear it, I feel like I'm taking a little bit of the rainforest with me everywhere I go :)

These are very simple ballet flats from Diana Ferrari, but sometimes with a great dress you don't need fancy shoes :)

  4. I just stumbled across your blog and I love that ojay dress. I was in two minds as to whether I could pull it off (I have dark hair) as I think it looks best on someone with blonde hair like you :)

How do you buy your Kate Spade pieces? I'm assuming you are buying directly from her online site (now that she accepts Australian credit cards, whoo hoo!) and then do you use a parcel forwarding service? If you don't mind me asking, who do you use and how much do they charge? Would you recommend them? Thanks!

  5. I just found your blog while googling for people who have the Kate Spade City Lights (skyline) skirt. It looks fantastic on you! I also adore that Ojay dress. I am in the US and am completely unfamiliar with the brand. But that print is gorgeous! Good luck with your shoe challenge!

  6. Hi all, thank you so much for your comments! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get back here and reply - I just don't get enough time for blogging lately :(

inmypocket, I do usually buy directly from the Kate Spade website using my credit card, and I use a parcel forwarding service, myus: http://www.myus.com/ I've had really good experiences with them, and the only bad thing I could say is that shipping is quite expensive. I find that it's worth it to be able to shop from US stores though :)

  8. Use parcelbound.com as a business partner to purchase USA free shipping products and to deliver you at your home door in normal shipping prices. I am earning a good amount by selling purchased products in my Local Market.
