My shoes are from Diana Ferrari, which I think is an Australian brand. I have a theory that a lot of Australian shoe brands have Italian-sounding names to give people the impression that their shoes are good quality (because people tend to associate quality shoes with Italy)...
I absolutely love this skirt - I wish I could wear it all the time! It's longer than most of the skirts I own, which makes it a bit warmer and more suitable for Winter, and it has been getting cooler this week. I'm glad there's a trend for longer (midi, tea-length) skirts at the moment.
My shoes are from Prada, and their story is that I bought them when I was in Canada late last year, because I really wanted the Miu Miu shoes I wore earlier on in the shoe challenge, but I couldn't find them in a store (I ended up getting them online later). They're really lovely, but I broke a few of my shoe rules by buying them (ie don't spend over $500 on a pair of shoes, don't buy too many pairs of sandals because they're not practical, don't buy expensive sandals).
I felt very colourful wearing this today... Maybe too colourful, especially as it was a grey, rainy day. But that could also be seen as a reason to wear bright colours!
My shoes are from a local brand, Alan Pinkus. I like their shoes, but I do think they're overpriced, and these particular shoes are basically copies of the red Valentino shoes I wore earlier in the shoe challenge. Anyway, I usually make sure not to wear satin shoes on days when it's likely to rain, but unfortunately I couldn't predict the weather today, and these shoes got really wet. I just hope they'll dry and won't be permanently damaged, because I have surprisingly few pairs of blue shoes and I need all of the ones I can get!
All of these are lovely Sara. The shoes and the outfits. I think I like the blue ones best.. or maybe the white ones... or the sandals *sigh*
ReplyDeleteThe houndstooth skirt is simply amazing! It's my favourite of all the gorgeous dresses&skirts you have worn up to now. Love the shoes with it too! May I ask which brand it is from?
ReplyDeleteDo you mind if I kill you and steal that black/hot pink skirt away from you? It is to die for!! Love the Prada sandals as well, I think they're well worth their money!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful shoes and very beautiful outfits! Looking forward to seeing your next outfits, always so cute!
ReplyDeleteDenise
love all your outfits! And I'm so jealous of all your pretty shoes :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Hooked on Shoes, that skirt is amazing!
ReplyDeleteI think I like the white slingbacks best, but perhaps that's because I've been looking for the perfect pair of white and black heels, and those would fit the bill!
Thanks so much for the comments, girls! I'm sorry it's taken me a few days to reply. My houndstooth skirt is from Review, an Australian brand which I wear a lot of the time! Apparently they are setting up an online store which will be on their website (http://www.review-australia.com/) eventually.
ReplyDeleteI know this comment is a few days late, but I wanted to say that I think you should go ahead and stop people to ask about their cute clothing. Anytime someone asks me about what I am wearing (which isn't all that often :) ) it always makes me feel really nice. If I can remember, I love to share where I shop.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the link! I've already looked at the Review website now and I'm praying they'll get an online store very very soon!! (or open a store in Munich...)
ReplyDeleteThere are many wonderful dear beautiful feet look so good
